About a Boy

I love this film. I loved the book too.
I read the book first, because i love Nick Hornby and i loved the book, i saw that the movie got pretty good reviews so i decided to see. I went to see it expecting the worse (every time a book is turned into a film i usually don´t like film) but i loved the film, they did change the ending, but its something that i could have seen in the book and i loved that i remembered most of the dialogue.
Hugh Grant as always is great and Nicholas Hoult is fantastic as Marcus.

The film and book is about Marcus a 12-year old boy who is an outsider, feels lonely, is somewhat forced into taking certain responsibilities and takes life too seriously for being 12, Will is 30-something year old who has no responsibilities, doesn't take life too seriously and is searching without really wanting to find out what is the meaning of his life is, and the relationship and bond they both form and how the change each others life.

The film is funny, witty and intelligent. I 100% recommend this film its in my top 10 of all time, i also recommend reading the book.

I´m Only Sleeping

Song- I´m Only Sleeping
Artist-The Beatles
Album- Revolver
Release- August,5,1966
Writers-Credited as Lennon-McCartney even though it was solely written by John Lennon.

I love this song, i think that it is an underrated Beatles song, its simple its about sleeping even though people think its about being in a drugged induced state but i don´t think so, its simple its about the peace you find while dreaming and sleeping.
And i love the unique George Harrison solo where once again he proves that he is one of the best guitar players the world has ever seen.

LYRICS:

When I wake up early in the morning, Lift my head, I'm still yawning When I'm in the middle of a dream Stay in bed, float up stream

Please don't wake me, no don't shake me Leave me where I am I'm only sleeping

Everybody seems to think I'm lazy I don't mind, I think they're crazy Running everywhere at such a speed Till they find, there's no need

Please don't spoil my day I'm miles away And after all I'm only sleeping

Keeping an eye on the world going by my window Taking my time

Lying there and staring at the ceiling Waiting for a sleepy feeling

Please don't spoil my day I'm miles away And after all I'm only sleeping

Keeping an eye on the world going by my window Taking my time

When I wake up early in the morning, Lift my head, I'm still yawning When I'm in the middle of a dream Stay in bed, float up stream

Please don't wake me, no don't shake me Leave me where I am I'm only sleeping

Welcome to Music and Film Equals Life!

I find that music and film does equal life, when you are feeling down and hear that one song that gets you, the one song that makes you forget, the song that can change your mood and dare i say it change your life that's something amazing and i think that we have all felt that one time or another.
And i think the same goes in films, sometimes you see yourself in certain characters or see a part of your life on film.

So basically what i´m going to do in this blog is give my opinions on records, songs, films and characters.
I hope that you all enjoy the blog!
